Fequently Asked Questions

 

 

Why can I not use my American Express Card?  Our credit card support  company at this time is not accepting American Express.  When this option comes available to us, we will in return make this option available to our donors.
 

Why is there a credit card processing fee?  When taking MasterCard, Visa and Discover, there is always a fee that the credit card companies charge.  YMI will be charged this fee for each credit card donation. We want to make sure as the receiver of your donation, you realize that if you give this way the full amount will not be received by YMI. 

What if I want to my donation to reoccur monthly?
  You have one option at this time to give on a monthly basis with out mailing in a check each month.  You can do an automatic bank draft from your checking account or savings account each month. This can be done form our Giving Regularly  tab. 

Is there any fees involved with doing the Automatic Draft option?
  There are no fees if you do the Automatic Bank Draft from your checking or savings account.  Go here to start this process

Can I choose what day to have my account drafted?
  Our organization at this time draft accounts on the 5th and 20th of each month.  Please contact us if you have any personal circumstances that these options would not work for you. 


How can I be sure that my donation was received?
  As soon as you submit your donation, you will receive a confirmation that the payment was received.  You will also receive an email from the YMI Headquarters thanking you for your donation within 2 business days of your transaction.
